Mountain River House is a compelling example of how glazing can be used as both a functional and architectural
driver. The project pushes beyond conventional window and door applications, with raked double-glazed units
precisely aligned to the roof and ceiling geometry to create a seamless internal-external relationship.
The Building operates to filter the environmental forces such as light & airflow in a manner which creates a healthy, breathable & high performance environment. It is designed to incorporate track the solar passage across different seasons: in winter it permits the sunlight deep into the floor plate of the home to provide radiant heat, light and an uplifting
mood.
The use of Capral Futureline 425TB throughout demonstrates how high-performance thermally broken systems can
be successfully integrated into complex residential designs without compromising aesthetic intent. The result is a
home where glazing is not just an inclusion, but a defining feature—maximising natural light, capturing surrounding
rural views, and enhancing spatial volume
