GP Glass was proud to contribute to the University of Tasmania’s NRAS Student Accommodation project, delivering glazing solutions across four contemporary accommodation towers. Designed with both functionality and architectural impact in mind, the façade incorporates a series of vertical fins to assist with solar shading, helping reduce heat load while enhancing the building’s striking visual identity.

The expansive glazing throughout the development maximises natural light and connection to the surrounding cityscape, while the prominent Melville Street canopy creates both a practical weather-protected entry and a bold architectural statement. The podium and communal spaces were thoughtfully designed to provide inviting landscaped areas for both public interaction and private resident use, showcasing how glazing can play a key role in modern urban living and large-scale multi-residential design.
