Simplot Ulverstone TAS
Work first begun at Simplot in June 2012 and was completed late November 2012. The exterior windows were double glazed with Viridian EVantage™ Grey toughened glass and 6mm Viridian Seraphic™ black glass to hide the floor level.
Semi-frameless balustrade was installed on level 2 and our first curved balustrade was installed to level 1-2.
The GP Commercial crew started manufacturing in July 2013 and finished glazing late November 2013.
The vibrant orange panels are from the Viridian Seraphic range. These windows are double glazed using 6mm Orange Seraphic on the outside and Seraphic Night Sky on the inside.
The Seraphic Night Sky panels seen from the outside are single glazed.
All windows were manufactured from the Capral commercial series.
Coles Beach TAS
This residential home took advantage of their ocean views with a glass enclosure on the balcony and frameless glass balustrade. A sliding stacker door with screens was installed to the living room opening up to the balcony. The kitchen carried the theme of bringing the outdoors in with the use of fixed windows either side of the cook-top with a mirror splashback behind to create the illusion of more space.
Port Sorell TAS
The windows and doors in this residence are effective in so many ways. The double glazed Trend Quantum sliding stacker doors not only provide lower energy consumption, they rank high aesthetically by bringing the picturesque views of the Rubicon Estuary and Narawantapu National Park indoors. The views aren’t the only thing the stacker doors draw into the open plan living area, natural lighting is captured by the large panes of glass and because the stacker doors are double glazed the room is never too hot in the summer and never too cold in the winter.
80% of the home is double glazed using 5mm clear / 10mm Air / 5mm clear. The Capral entry door is commercial grade enabling the door to be larger than most residential door. Its style resembles the common timber entry doors but is more durable being made from aluminum.
This home has really encompassed the Tasmanian entertainment requirements for a home. With most of Tasmania’s months being on the colder side this entertainment room has ticked all the right boxes. The Trend Quantum sliding stacker doors close up the room when the air is cold and you can open the two walls when the air is warm to make the room feel like an outside entertaining area. The stacker door also have fly doors installed to keep the insects out but let the air in.
